T-Shirt warnings

The T-shirt worn by West Brom’s Paul Scharner during his team’s winning match against Wolves, has sold 600 copies for charity and earned him a warning from the Football Association. The T-shirt bore the WBA logo and was designed by Sharner’s sons – he pulled up his official team shirt after the win, to show off the design which is being sold to raise funds for DebRa, a charity that supports children with a rare genetic condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) which causes blistering when the skin is touched.
Wolves Manager Mick McCarthy complained about Scharner’s actions in the post-match press conference but retracted his complaints when he discovered the stunt had been undertaken for charity. However Scharner admits that he’s received a written warning from the Football Association and could be suspended if the action is repeated. Over 600 T-shirts have been sold, raising over £4,500 for the charity.
The mysterious ‘Superlative Luxury’ group, is offering a rather more expensive T-shirt for sale. £256,500 to be precise, and while the T-shirt is obviously a luxury product, its creators claim it has impeccable credentials: organic cotton and manufacture using only renewable energy. That wouldn’t make to so expensive though: the price tag is the result of the 32 diamonds that are set into the design. It takes 28 days for the diamond encrusted garment to be delivered, but the good news is that delivery is free! On the other hand, returns are not allowable, so you’d have to be very sure you’d chosen the right size, before you placed your order! Alternatively, it could be an early April Fool’s Day joke …
